Warranty terms

All Nuvita products are guaranteed for 24 months against manufacturing defects from the purchase date indicated on the sales document: order confirmation for online purchases or receipt, invoice, tax receipt for purchases at one of our retailer stores.

To make use of the warranty for purchases made at a physical store, an email must be sent to helpdesk@nuvitababy.com.

To allow us to handle the request correctly, the following information must be provided:

  • product model
  • detailed description of the defect found
  • copy of the receipt or proof of purchase
  • batch reference found on the packaging or on the product itself

Once we receive the complete email with the requested data, our team will take charge of the case.

The warranty is void in the following cases:

  1. The product has suffered damage due to improper or abnormal use.
  2. If the product has been modified or tampered with.
  3. The product has been used professionally. All Nuvita products are intended for domestic use.
  4. In the event of accidental events (e.g. drops).
  5. If the causes of the malfunction are attributable to poor maintenance of individual components and accessories (e.g. battery oxidation, problems due to limescale build-up in parts, presence of acids or other corrosive liquids, etc.).
  6. Absence of receipt or proof of purchase.

The following cases are excluded from the 24-month warranty:

  1. Costs related to the replacement or repair of parts subject to wear or normal product maintenance.
  2. Costs of wear parts.
  3. Costs and risks related to transport of any kind and for any reason, in the case of handling a product recognised as out of warranty.
  4. Damage caused by or defects resulting from incorrect installation or use not in accordance with the instructions provided with the product and available on our website.
  5. Damage due to natural causes and disasters, accidental events or conditions incompatible with the product.
  6. Defects caused by wear resulting from normal use, such as plastic components or accessories (due to temperature fluctuations, friction, etc.).
  7. Pre-installed rechargeable batteries, as they are considered consumable materials and may be damaged or depleted depending on the type of use. Nuvita grants a warranty period of 6 months, sufficient to establish whether the battery has manufacturing defects.
  8. In the absence of a receipt, Nuvita may request a contribution of between €20 and €25 for the replacement of the product, provided it shows a conformity defect and not damage, as specified in the points relating to cases of warranty forfeiture.

It is possible to request a repair estimate for out-of-warranty products or for the purchase of spare parts and accessories in the CUSTOMER SUPPORT section.

The manufacturer, distributor and all parties involved in the sale accept no responsibility for losses and economic damages due to any malfunction of the product.

In compliance with current regulations, the manufacturer, distributor and all parties involved in the sale are in no case liable for damages, including direct, indirect, loss of net profit, loss of savings and further damages due to other causes, arising from the use or inability to use the product.
