BATTERY CHARGING

WHAT TO DO
• Use the supplied USB-C cable (A)
• Use a charger with OUTPUT power 5V 2a (B)

❌ WHAT NOT TO DO
Do not use chargers with different specifications.

A power supply with inferior specifications will not charge the battery properly (or will take many more hours than necessary)
A power supply with more powerful specifications may burn the battery and damage the product beyond repair.

To check the charge status
▶️ Press the power button (C) briefly (1 second) and only once.
▶️ The number shown on the display (E) corresponds to the current charge level (100, 80, 60, 40, 20, “OL” = 0%).

▶ MORE INFORMATION

CABLE AND POWER SUPPLY
The battery is recharged via the USB-C cable found in the packaging of your Warm'n'Go. The power supply (B) must have an OUTPUT output power of 5V and 2A (10 Watts). You can use the power supplies you already have at home, even the one from your cell phone could be fine, but check the wording printed before using it because the power supplies can have different powers and not all are suitable. OUTPUT 5V 2A is the suitable one.
The correct cable and power supply ensure the correct and safe use of the device, as well as prolonging the battery life. Power supplies with different characteristics can damage the battery and lengthen the charging time.

USING A POWERBANK
If you are away from home and want to charge the bottle warmer with a portable battery (powerbank), use one with at least 10000mAh.

CHARGING TIMES
  • The full charging time varies between 4 and 6 hours, depending on the initial state of the battery and the type of power supply used.
  • • During the charging process, the display (E) will show the digital lines “---" and “100” when fully charged.
  • • The device can be used with a minimum charge level of 20.
Once fully charged, always remember to unplug the power cord from the power supply. This will help maintain the battery's good performance over time.

  • CHECK BATTERY LEVEL
By briefly pressing (1 second) the power button once only, the display (E) will show the current battery charge level: 100, 80, 60, 40 and 20.

HOW TO READ THE DISPLAY CHARGE VALUES
The Warm'n'Go bottle warmer battery behaves differently from traditional rechargeable batteries, such as those found in cell phones. Its battery is defined as a “single cell” and the charge levels follow an irregular progression:
    Total charge 100%: Level 100
From 95% to 80% charge: Display shows Level 80
From 79% to 60% charge: Display shows Level 60
From 59% to 40% charge: Display shows Level 40
From 39% to 20% charge: the display shows Level 20
Below 20% charge: the display shows the abbreviation OL
For example, when the battery level is 90% the display will show 80, when it is 70% the display will show 60.

USING THE DEVICE WITH A CHARGE LEVEL LESS THAN 20
You can also use Warm'n'Go with a charge level of 20 but it is recommended to connect it to the power supply to prevent it from turning off before completing the heating.

LOW BATTERY WARNING AND AUTOMATIC SHUTDOWN
  • • During use, if the battery level reaches 20, an acoustic signal reminds you to recharge it.
  • • When the battery level drops below 20, the display will show “OL” and the product will automatically turn off.
  • • When the contents of the bottle are less than 20ml or dry, the product will automatically shut down to protect the battery which may otherwise be damaged.

  • PRECAUTIONS
  • • The product is sold with a factory pre-charge that is not 100%. If you use it before fully charging it, the battery memory is not reset, preventing the 100 level from being reached during subsequent charges.
  • • Using a power supply with specifications other than those recommended may damage the battery and negatively affect the performance of the product, as well as void the warranty.

HOW MANY BOTTLES CAN YOU HEAT WITH A CHARGE LEVEL OF 100?

Battery life varies depending on the amount and initial temperature of the liquid, as well as the temperature you want to reach.

❗ The ambient temperature and the type of bottle can also affect
the heating time and therefore the battery life.

The performances indicated in the table may be subject to a variability of +-10%

    ▶ MORE INFORMATION

Battery life varies depending on the amount of liquid heated, the starting temperature, and the temperature you want to reach. Starting from a charge at level 100, to heat 120 ml of milk stored at room temperature to 37°C:
  • • at the end of the first warm-up the level drops to 80.
  • • after the second warm-up, the level drops to 60
  • • after the third and fourth warm-up it still shows 60
  • • after the fifth, sixth and seventh warm-up shows 40
  • • the eighth heating will start from 20, in this case if you heat a quantity of milk greater than 120 ml it is advisable to connect the power supply because the bottle warmer could switch off before completing the heating.

Progression may drop more rapidly depending on the type of use.
  • SWITCHING ON AND OFF

▶️ Press and hold the power button until “ - - -" appears

▶️ To turn it off, hold down the same button for a few seconds.

▶ THE BOTTLE WARMER SWITCHES OFF AUTOMATICALLY IF:

  • • If the battery level reaches 0% the device will automatically turn off.
  • • If the sensor detects the absence of liquid, the device will automatically switch off, to protect the battery from overheating.
  • • If the battery level is at 1% or 2% the display lights up for a few moments and the wording “OL” appears. If the battery is at 0% the display does not light up.
  • • If you leave it on without liquid, it will turn off after a few seconds.
  • CHOOSING THE ADAPTER AND ITS INSTALLATION

    WHAT TO DO
Screw the correct adapter onto the bottle.
Screw the bottle with the adapter onto the bottle warmer (remember to insert the gasket correctly to avoid leaks).

    ❌ WHAT NOT TO DO
Do not overtighten. Overtightening may cause the adapter seal to break.

    WHICH ADAPTER TO USE
On each adapter you will find an abbreviation (F) that will allow you to understand which adapter is correct for your bottle model.
Find the corresponding adapter in the table below:

    ▶ MORE INFORMATION

    • Adapters are marked with specific letters or symbols (F) to indicate compatibility with different brands and models of baby bottles.
    • If you lose your adapter you can purchase it separately from the official Nuvita website.
    • It is important to ensure that the adapter is fitted correctly, without overtightening, before starting warming. Improper fitting may lead to heat loss or damage to the bottle or warmer.

Look for your bottle model in the table and find the right adapter.

    HEATING TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT

▶️ Turn on the bottle warmer (C) then press the control button (D)
▶️ The temperature set last time appears on the screen (E)
▶️ Press the control button (D) several times until you select the desired temperature, choosing between 37°C, 40°C, 45°C or 50°C.
    ▶️ Heating will start automatically
▶️ The display will show you the rising temperature of the liquid in contact with the plate. Stir the liquid to reach the required temperature evenly (read more)

    ▶ MORE INFORMATION

    Available temperatures: 37°C, 40°C, 45°C, 50°C.
37°C is considered a comfortable temperature for breast milk or direct consumption
50°c 50°C is the maximum allowed according to safety regulations.

    WARM UP TIMES

❗ The heating time varies depending on the quantity and initial temperature of the liquid, the temperature of the environment you are in, the type of bottle and the temperature set for heating.

▶️ Warm'n'Go alerts you with an acoustic signal (beep) when it has reached the temperature you have set.

▶️ To ensure that the liquid heats evenly, stir the liquid as described in the next step.

The indicated performances may be subject to a variability of +-10%.

    ▶ PRACTICAL EXAMPLES

The time needed to bring all the water or milk to the desired temperature has several variables. Let's take a limiting example: are you at the seaside in the summer or in the mountains in the winter?
    • If you want to heat 120 ml of liquid up to 37° (ideal body temperature for baby milk) starting from room temperature (for example you are on the beach on a summer day at 27°C), the temperature difference is only 10°C and Warm'n'go will only need 4 minutes.
    • If, however, it is winter and you are outdoors (for example at 10°c) and you want to heat a double quantity (for example 240ml), then the bottle warmer will need more time to allow the liquid to reach the same temperature.
The device is optimized to heat up to 240 ml, therefore larger quantities will require longer heating times.

    TIPS FOR A HOMOGENEOUS TEMPERATURE

    WHAT TO DO
While warming, stir the contents of the bottle by gently moving it to allow the contents to mix and the sensor to indicate the actual temperature of the liquid. It is normal for the indicator to indicate a lower temperature when stirring.

    ❌ WHAT NOT TO DO
Do not take the temperature indicated by the bottle warmer as the real one if you have never stirred the liquid during the heating period, because the heat will not be distributed evenly.
Do not turn the bottle warmer upside down during the heating process.

    ▶ MORE INFORMATION

The milk in contact with the plate reaches the desired temperature before the milk in the upper layer, further away from the heating plate.
To heat evenly, therefore, gently stir the contents during the heating period.
If the liquid is never stirred during heating, some spots will remain cold, especially if the liquid is more than 240 ml and if the starting temperature was very low.

    During use:
    • do not turn the bottle warmer upside down leaving the heating plate dry
    • do not remove the bottle from the bottle warmer

The temperature sensor is placed on the heating plate, once it senses the reached temperature, it stops the heating.

HOW LONG DOES IT KEEP HEAT?

❗You can use Warm'n'Go to keep liquid at a temperature for several hours, such as warm water for nighttime feedings.

The performances indicated in the table may be subject to a variability of +-10%

    ▶ MORE INFORMATION

    • The longest operating time for maintaining the heat is approximately 8 hours for 120ml of liquid maintained at 37°C. This heat maintenance time is based on a full battery charge.
    • If you want to keep the water warm during the night, we recommend keeping the bottle warmer connected to the power supply.
    • For breast milk, it is recommended not to exceed 30 minutes of warming. Always consult a neonatal nutrition specialist for advice on appropriate feeding and temperatures.

    CLEANING

    WHAT TO DO
    With the device off:
    • Remove adapter and gasket
    • Clean the heating plate with a damp cloth or with white alcohol vinegar in case of limescale residues.

    • To eliminate milk residues, insert a bottle with water previously heated to 100°C diluted with a few drops of dish soap and shake.
(You can find more information in the instructions below)

    ❌ WHAT NOT TO DO
Do not put the bottle warmer under water.
    Do not use chemicals.

▶ SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS FOR CLEANING ALL COMPONENTS

During the cleaning process the product must remain switched off.

    GASKETS
Before cleaning the heating plate, remove the gaskets (both the heating body and the adapter) and wash them with soap and water. Do not heat sterilize them.

    BOTTLE WARMER
    • During daily use, in case of water heating, it is sufficient to pass a damp cloth over the heating plate. If white marks appear on the heating plate (i.e. limescale), remove them by adding a little white alcohol vinegar slightly diluted with bottled natural water and leave to act. Do not exceed the threshold and do not let the liquid come out, the product display could be damaged. Alternatively, adding a few drops of lemon juice can also be effective.
    • To eliminate milk residues, fill a bottle with water previously heated to 100°C diluted with a few drops of dish soap and connect it to the device, but not before having positioned the washed gaskets. The device must remain switched off for the entire duration of the cleaning. Shake gently for a few minutes to help dissolve the milk residues. Disconnect the bottle, empty the contents, rinse the plate with clean water to remove the soap and dry with a soft cloth.
    • Alternatively, you can also use cleaning wipes, but even in this case, rinse the plate with water to eliminate detergent residues that could contaminate the heated liquid.
